Word-by-Word Meaning
Explanation & Commentary
Arjuna gives his triumphant answer, and the long dialogue reaches its resolution. My delusion is destroyed, he declares; through Your grace my smriti — my true memory and wisdom — is regained. I stand firm, free of doubt, and I will do as You say.
This is the transformation the whole Gita was working toward. The warrior who collapsed in despair in the first chapter now stands clear, steady, and resolved. Notice he credits tvat-prasadat, Your grace — recognizing that his clarity is a gift, not merely his own achievement. And his conclusion is not abstract: 'I will act.' Wisdom flowers into committed action. Arjuna is ready at last to do his duty, no longer paralyzed but established in understanding and surrender.
💡 Key Takeaway
True spiritual clarity dispels doubt and flowers naturally into willing, committed action.
