तस्मात्त्वमुत्तिष्ठ यशो लभस्व जित्वा शत्रून् भुङ्क्ष्व राज्यं समृद्धम् | मयैवैते निहताः पूर्वमेव निमित्तमात्रं भव सव्यसाचिन् ||११-३३||
tasmāttvamuttiṣṭha yaśo labhasva jitvā śatrūn bhuṅkṣva rājyaṃ samṛddham . mayaivaite nihatāḥ pūrvameva nimittamātraṃ bhava savyasācin ||11-33||

11.33 Therefore, stand up and obtain fame. Coner the enemies and enjoy the unrivalled kingdom. Verily by Me have they been already slain; be thou a mere instrument, O Arjuna.

From the revelation of Time flows a practical command: tasmat tvam uttistha — 'therefore, arise'. The same word that began Krishna's counsel in chapter two returns, now grounded in the full vision of cosmic reality. Arjuna is to rise, do his duty as a warrior, and accept the fame and kingdom that follow.
The pivotal phrase is nimitta-matram bhava — 'be merely an instrument'. The warriors, Krishna says, are already slain by Time; Arjuna's role is only to serve as the channel through which what must happen takes place. This is the heart of karma-yoga made vivid. To act as an instrument is to do one's appointed work with full energy while releasing the ego's claim to be the doer. We are not asked to be passive, but to be willing — to lend our hands to the larger movement without grasping at ownership of its results. In this surrender of authorship, action becomes free of bondage, and duty becomes worship.

11.24 On seeing Thee (the Cosmic Form) touching the sky, shining in many colours, with mouths wide open, with large fiery eyes, I am terrified at heart and find neither courage nor peace, O Vishnu.
दंष्ट्राकरालानि च ते मुखानि दृष्ट्वैव कालानलसन्निभानि | दिशो न जाने न लभे च शर्म प्रसीद देवेश जगन्निवास ||११-२५||
daṃṣṭrākarālāni ca te mukhāni dṛṣṭvaiva kālānalasannibhāni . diśo na jāne na labhe ca śarma prasīda deveśa jagannivāsa ||11-25||
11.25 Having seen Thy mouths fearful with teeth (blazing) like the fires of cosmic dissolution, I know not the four arters, nor do I find peace. Have mercy, O Lord of the gods, O abode of the universe.
