अर्जुन उवाच सेनयोरुभयोर्मध्ये रथं स्थापय मेऽच्युत।।

Arjuna's first words to Krishna are a practical command: place my chariot between the two armies. He calls Krishna 'Achyuta' — the infallible, the one who never slips or falls. The name is a testament to Arjuna's faith in Krishna's perfect wisdom and steadiness, even before the conversation that will follow has begun.
By asking to be placed in the middle — between both armies — Arjuna is asking for a view from no-man's-land, a vantage point from which he can see both sides simultaneously. This request, while tactically motivated, becomes spiritually profound: the Gita's wisdom will ultimately be delivered to someone positioned between competing claims, between action and inaction, between attachment and renunciation.

पश्यैतां पाण्डुपुत्राणामाचार्य महतीं चमूम्। व्यूढां द्रुपदपुत्रेण तव शिष्येण धीमता।।
